1 – Your most memorable moment of the Abramovich era is?
The Champions League Final, 19th May 2012 against Bayern Munich. It crowned all the efforts of everyone associated with the club. Its been long time coming and that was the final stamp on our status as a big club. The events of that night are unforgettable.
2 – Your worst moment of the Abramovich era is?
The draw/loss against Barcelona in the second leg semi-final of champions league 2009. Iniesta broke my heart with 92nd minute goal. I still believe that we would have beaten Man united in the final.
3 – The best player of the Abramovich era is?
Frank Lampard, for me, is not just the best player of the Abramovich era but the greatest Chelsea player of all times. A phenomenan. It was once Ossie then Zola but today it`s Lamps. Didier Drogba, however is the best signing of the Roman era and the second best player, a man who could single-handedly guarantee you trophies.
4 – The worst buy of the Abramovich era is?
Without Doubt, Fernando Torres. There isn`t much to say about him except that I wish the club will use the opportunity of his performance at the Confederations Cup to move him on. If he stays, we won`t win the league. Is it a coincidence that since his arrival, we have not been league contenders? I still believe we may win the league in 2011 had we signed only David Luiz. We had already recovered from our bad form then before we signed him and he came in and destabilized the squad.
5 – One thing you`d like to see happen in the next part of the Abramovich era is?
We are already on the pact to what I would want see at Chelsea in years to come, a top European club that is properly managed financially with a stable manager and a great Academy. Trophy-wise, I am looking at a target of at least – 2 Premier League titles, 1 Champions League and 3 domestic cups over the next 5 years.
