Following on from the omission of David Luiz from the squad of eighteen named for the Premier League fixture against Manchester United on Sunday, the omission gave us the perfect subject matter for a fresh front-page poll.
Our poll statement simply read – Does, after yesterday, David Luiz still have a Chelsea future?
We left you three options to choose from:

? No
and
? Unsure
The result as unanimous with a huge 83% opting for theyes option, believing that Antonio Conte`s actions won`t see the Brazilian sold.
As for the remainder of the votes cast, 11% went for the no option suggesting that whatever went on between the pair will see Conte exercise his authority and move David Luiz out of Stamford Bridge.
As for the other 6% they opted for the unsure option, not certain which way the pendulum will swing on this one.
As for the man himself, Antonio Conte, his comments on the situation, as published in the Daily Star, when asked as to whether David Luiz has a future at Stamford Bridge, remarked,
“I don`t know.”
Indicating that there is a lot of work still to be done before a harmonious outcome can be achieved.
