This week should have been all about the transfer window and about who Chelsea might be signing before the transfer window slams shut.
But, instead it has all been about our manager, Antonio Conte, and his future at the club.
The media has wasted no time in generating column inch after column inch, with some pundits already sounding the death-knell when it comes to the Italian`s tenure at the Chelsea managerial helm.
My co-ed, Techlec2000, took the opportunity to use our front-page poll to ask an intriguing question, a question that read:
Is Antonio Conte on his way out of Chelsea FC
Three answers were left for you to choose from:
? Yes, he`ll be gone before the season`s end
? Yes, but he`ll stay until the season`s finished
And
? No, he`ll still be here next season.
The result was, to put it mildly, very interesting.
A massive 69% of you opted for the no, he`ll still be here next season, which is the scenario I personally would like to see happen.
However, 23% are of the opinion yes, but he`ll stay until the end of the season, which would be hugely disappointing in my opinion.
As for the remaining 8% of the vote, they opted for the yes, he`ll be gone before the season`s end, which would be typical Chelsea would it not?
