We`ve still no idea as to whether our captain, leader and legend will continue his playing career next season or decide to hang up his boots.

Yesterday, we ran an article inferring that a round of golf, with Steve Bruce in Portugal, had prompted the tabloid media to suggest that Aston Villa could be the ideal destination for the 36-year-old, the theory being that John Terry would be seriously interested in helping the club recover its rightful position in the Premier League.

Today though, two further snippets of transfer speculation suggest that the two other clubs in England`s second city are also interested in acquiring the services of the veteran centre-back.

The first snippet, courtesy of Sky Sports, suggests that West Bromwich Albion, managed by Tony Pulis, have started talks to take John to the Hawthorns.

The second snippet, courtesy of The Times, implies that Birmingham City, managed by Harry Redknapp, are growing increasingly hopeful of signing John.

I`m guessing that, come tomorrow, the situation may have further changed.

But if the only others on the table were from Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion or Birmingham City, which of the three would you predict John might opt to join?
