Ahead of the EFL Cup 3rd round tie last night, against Nottingham Forest, we used our front-page poll to ask a very simple question.
We wanted to know, ahead of the fixture, who you believed would go through to the fourth round.
Naturally, we were limited with the number of options we could leave, finally settling on just the two:
? Chelsea
or
? Nottingham Forest.
The result as we suspected it might be, was unanimous with 82% of those who cast a vote predicting that Chelsea would go through and avoid being on the end of a David v Goliath scenario.
As you may have worked out, the other 18% were firmly of the opinion that in fielding a weakened team Chelsea would be knocked out of the competition by Nottingham Forest. Let`s just say they were slightly wrong.
