At the African Cup of Nations, most Chelsea supporters were following the exploits of the Chelsea duo of Victor Moses and John Obi Mikel as they helped Nigeria to winning the competition.
However, there was a third player in the Nigerian set-up who is also a Chelsea player and a defender who made quite an impact in the competition.
Nineteen year-old Kenneth Omeruo impressed those who watched him and he is marked down as a star of the future.
Omeruo, registered with Chelsea but currently on loan at the Dutch club – Den Haag, could be making that next step to stardom sooner than many think with it now being reported that he has been told by Chelsea that he will be in the first team squad next season.
