You may have noticed its been a little quiet on Vital Chelsea this week!
After some thirteen years as the editor, I feel I owe you all an explanation as to why.
I know how frustrating it must be to tune into the front page and find it’s the same as before.
But there is a reason for that.
I’ve not lost interest in the site, far from it.
But, as many of you may have found out, life can sometimes be a bit of a bitch.
This week, after spending most of the daylight hours before noon, at my proper job, I’m then been rushing across to the local hospital where somebody dear to me, my mother, is fighting for her life, after being struck down by pneumonia.
She’s putting up a good fight despite almost being eighty, but her frailty is against her and the fight could still go either way.
So, if you’ll bear with me, things will get back to normal, I promise, it might just take a couple more days.
