So we’re all waiting for the kid to be confirmed by the club.
Relax.
Ask yourself a few questions.
Would Chelsea let Lukaku train with them for the past week if he wasn’t signing?
Would they post ChelseaTV footage of him doing so if he wasn’t going to be there for the next few years?
Would they allow photos of his ‘boot space’ and the number 18 to be released?
Of course not.
There could be many reasons as to why the player has not yet signed.
My belief and I think you’ll agree with me is:
AvB is a ‘team’ manager. He does not want player power or players thinking they are bigger than the club. For that reason, when Romeu arrives for training tomorrow, both he and Lukaku will be presented. That way, neither player is seen as an individual and no unnecessary pressure can be put on either of them.
There are rumours that Courtois will also be present but as he is already with A.Madrid, this is unlikely.
There are also beliefs that De Bruyne will be unveiled as part of the ‘line-up’ later in the week which can also explain the delay.
So fret not my friends. All is well.
