It would appear that the former Chelsea manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is in no rush to get back into football management.

The Italian, who sits in the Chelsea hall-of-fame as the only manager to lead the club to the unique double of the FA Cup and the Premier League, was recently sacked as the manager of the Bavarian outfit, Bayern Munich, courtesy of player-power.

Immediately after news of his dismissal broke, Ancelotti as we mentioned in a front-page article, was linked with the West Ham United job, if the Hammers decree that Slaven Bilic`s reign has run its course.

But, in another development, once again covered by a front-page article we ran, Carlo, reputedly, suggested he was waiting to take the Arsenal job when Arsene Wenger leaves.

In all probability, in being linked to the two London jobs, Ancelotti probably fell victim to the fact that he still has a home in London.

However, today, news has appeared in the Italian media vehicle, Gazzetta dello Sport, Ancelotti has no immediate plans to return to football, inferring that he wants to put his feet up for at least ten-months.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we hope somebody we have a lot of affection for, enjoys his break from the hectic world of football.
