With Chelsea unbeaten since the start of the new season, things are looking promising when it comes to challenging for silverware.

However, I’m old enough to recognise that there will be a couple of hiccups along the way that will test Chelsea’s resolve when it comes achieving their goals.

One such hiccup could very well be any approaches from other clubs, for their players, once the January transfer window opens.

Today, the transfer speculation spotlight, once again, falls on Willian.

The 30-year-old winger-cum-midfielder has been in excellent form for Chelsea this season and has become a mainstay of Maurizio Sarri’s starting eleven.

However, although Willian has pledged his loyalty to Chelsea, after Sarri replaced Antonio Conte, the media source, Metro has picked up on something in the European media which suggests Willian could be on the move.

According to our referenced source, Barcelona have opened talks with representatives of Willian about the possibility of a move for the Brazilian.

Could we be at a stage whereby the charms of the Catalan giants are difficult to ignore for the popular Willian?

Your thoughts on the above subject matter would be greatly appreciated.
