Are Chelsea Still Contenders For The Premier League Title?

|

A question we’d like you to give an honest answer to!

As we prepare to witness another possible twist in the destination of the 2018 / 2019 Premier League title race, with Manchester City hoping to resume their position at the top of the table, overhauling Liverpool by beating their near-neighbours, Everton, the Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has come out with a few interesting remarks.

With his side hoping to become the first team to win back-to-back Premier League titles in a decade, at his pre-match press conference, as reported by the BBC, Guardiola believes that any of the top four could go on to claim the title, remarking:

“There are 39 points to play and it is not too much if you are nine or 10 behind.

“I never said Tottenham are not there. United making this run every single week and they will be there.

“Now we see the table and see the first two or three and we don’t look further than that. Chelsea can win games in a row and be a contender.”

Really?

Do you share Pep’s opinion or, considering our temperamental form are you, like me, of the opinion that we’ve absolutely no chance of, with just 13 games remaining, coming back from being 12 points off the pace to claim a very unlikely title?

Your thoughts on the above subject matter, by way of a comment or two in the facility below, would be most welcome.
