A source close to David Luiz has said the Brazilian is looking for a move to Spanish giants Barcelona following his fall out with Antonio Conte. Luiz was dropped from Chelsea`s recent game against Manchester United after a drop in form and a show of dissent having been substituted against Roma at Stamford Bridge.

We`ve already seen that Conte won`t stand for insubordination in the ranks of Chelsea`s squad as he tries to quash player power. Fellow Brazilian Diego Costa was sent into the wilderness last season having shown a desire to cash-in on move to China last January.

According to Diariogol the source has quoted Luiz as saying he would `rather be in Barcelona than sit on the bench in London`. Having watched Luiz`s recent performances, he certainly appears to have lost his defensive discipline. With Andreas Christensen putting in some solid performances, the fuzzy-haired one, may find it difficult to force his way back into the starting XI.

Following the weekend`s defeat of United, the Italian was unsure when questioned about whether Luiz has a future at Chelsea,

`I don`t know. He has to work really hard, otherwise he is on the bench or in the stands. I must take the best decision for the club, not for a single player. Christensen is the present and the future for Chelsea.`

The widely held belief is that one or the other will have to leave the club. As it stands, the favourite to be off is the Brazilian. With Luiz having been left out of the Brazil side during this week`s internationals there is a possibility that he and Conte could kiss and makeup.

The latest news is though, Luiz has picked up a knock in training, The Mirror show him on the ground grimacing, it`s not known how serious the injury is.
