Transfer tittle-tattle has once again emerged this morning linking an exciting young Italian striker to a move to Stamford Bridge.

With Chelsea having already spent a huge fee bringing Alvaro Morata to Stamford Bridge, one news source, the Daily Star, is suggesting that Chelsea are looking to sign Torino`s Andrea Belotti.

The 23-year-old, who scored 26 goals in 35 Sere A games last season, is, according to our referenced source, seen as the ideal replacement for the soon to be departing Diego Costa.

However, sat here in Vital Chelsea towers, one thing troubles me about the suggestion.

Our aforementioned source is suggesting that the player is valued at £80 million by his club.

Which begs me to ask the question – Can you see Chelsea, having already spent big on Morata, spending even bigger on Belotti when Antonio Conte tends to favour playing a lone striker assisted by two wide players?
