The quest to bring the Juventus left-back, Alex Sandro, to Stamford Bridge, appears to be continuing although it is starting to look a little forlorn.

This morning, two media vehicles have offered some further information relating to a possible deal.
First up, the Daily Mail are championing the suggestion that another enquiry relating to the purchase of the 26-year-old has floundered.

Second up, the London Evening Standard is reporting that Chelsea have had bids of £52 million and £61 million rejected by Juventus and inferring that a possible deal will only come to fruition if the Brazilian international hands in a transfer request, something that we`re not sure is very likely.

Our view is that, unless Chelsea return with an offer that Juventus cannot refuse, then we`ll not be seeing Alex Sandro becoming a Chelsea player.

Are those thoughts something you concur with?
