Back in the summer, Chelsea showed great interest in bringing the Juventus defender Alex Sandro to Stamford Bridge.

But, it turned out to be a forlorn chase with Juventus turning down a series of bids, the last one being in the region of £60 million for the attacking defender.

Recently, on the front page of Vital Chelsea, you may have read how the player could now be available for transfer after a loss of form at the Turin based club.

In our article, we questioned as to whether Chelsea would be interested in signing Alex Sandro once the January transfer window opens or whether that particular ship has sailed.

However, if Antonio Conte still has ambitions of bringing Sandro to West London, there could be complications on the horizon.

According to the news source, the Express, a certain Jose Mourinho, up at Manchester United, now has his eyes on signing the player.

As for a possible fee, our referenced source is of the belief it would be circa £60 million for the 26-year-old.
