Just down the road, our West London neighbours, Fulham, are making a bid to return to the Premier League.

Our neighbours currently sit in the last play-off place and two wins from their final two games will see them participate in the play-offs.

Amongst their squad are two Chelsea players who are on season-long loans with the Craven Cottage side, Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon.

Both have uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge but it seems 23-year-old Kalas, according to the London Evening Standard, would be quite happy to remain at Fulham.

Commenting on the situation, our source carries comments attributed to Kalas that read,

“We’re in touch with Fulham and Chelsea and we’re sorting out my situation for next season.

“Getting promoted would help, but anyway, everyone knows that I’d like to stay, not because I wouldn’t like to play anywhere else but because I’m playing every game and that’s all I need.

“I’m living in an area I know, so right now it’s perfect scenario for me to stay.”

Kalas has made just two appearances for Chelsea and is set to enter the last year of his current contract. At 23-years-of-age our feeling is that if he was going to make it at Chelsea he would have done so by now.

Is now the time to move Kalas on and sell him to Fulham?
