Oh good, with just over two months until the next transfer window opens, the speculation that filled our summer has once again begun. Get ready for a plethora of transfer tittle-tattle and non stories for the next thirteen weeks or so.
The best bit is though, we don`t have to mention Diego Costa. Just remember, our job at Vital Chelsea is to acknowledge these snippets of hypophysis and pass comment. And in English, read it, report it, and disregard it.
First up, Gareth Bale. According to The Daily Star Real Madrid`s Gareth Bale could be on his way to Chelsea in January. The Star`s source for the story is Spanish media outlet Don Balon who believe the Welshman`s days at the Bernabau are numbered. Conte is understood to be keen to spend the money that will be coming in following the departure of Diego Costa…arghhhhhh.
According to the article though, securing Bale`s services won`t be easy, but Chelsea are one club deemed to be able to match, or even improve his current salary.
This story is not as far fetched as it first appears, as Bale missed half of Madrid`s games last season through injury is currently sidelined. In that respect he certainly fits the bill.
