Chelsea Outcast Set For Return To Former Club

|

This January could be a turning point in the Chelsea career of Victor Moses.

The Nigerian utility player has been conspicuous by his absence from the side this season, having gone from a regular under Antonio Conte to a player that is clearly out of favour in the Maurizio Sarri regime.

Today, lurking in the pages of the Standard, is the insinuation that the 28-year-old could be set for a move across London, with Crystal Palace said to be keen to re-acquire a player who they’ve had on their books previously?

Now, whether a permanent deal can be tied up remains to be seen, but it is puzzling that, even when Sarri heavily rotates his squad for Carabao Cup and Europa League fixtures, Moses still doesn’t get the opportunity to stretch his legs.

However, if Moses’ time at Stamford Bridge is coming to an end, he’ll leave with some wonderful memories having played his part in adding yet more silverware to the trophy cabinet.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’ll endeavour to keep abreast of the situation and report back as deemed required.
