Another week has passed and the Chelsea squad is still as thread-bare as ever.
In the past seven days, although those concerned with sorting out transfers may be working feverishly behind the scenes, there has been no grand parade of a single new arrival, no lavish press conferences and nobody stood there advising those who`ll listen that they`ve always wanted to play for Chelsea.
In fact, it`s gotten so bad we have to admit that there`s been hardly any speculation linking us with anybody new, it`s just the same old players who we seem to be chasing.

According to the popular red-top publication, the Mirror, the signing of the Inter Milan winger, Antonio Candreva is back on the agenda.
Our referenced source is championing the suggestion that the Serie A club are prepared to part with the 30-year-old for a fee of £25 million.
Previously, the word on the street is that the club were not willing to sign players that they felt may not have an appropriate re-sale value.
I guess if Candreva is being targeted then needs must!
