Following his emphatic display in the 4-0 Champions League rout of Sevilla, a game in which Olivier Giroud scored all four goals, we just had to use our poll to ask a vital question.
The question we asked was precise and to the point:
Should Olivier Giroud Start Regularly For Chelsea?
We only offered the two option, Yes and No, we did not want anybody sitting on the undecided fence for this one.
The response was emphatic with 86% going for the YES option and a mere 14% going for the NO option.
As it turned out, following his four-goal burst in Sevilla, Frank Lampard opted to start with Giroud in the 3-2 win against Leeds United, on Saturday evening.
Giroud responded by scoring the equaliser making it 5 goals in 4 games.
However, at 34-years-of-age, it remains to be seen whether Giroud is a starter against FK Krasnodar in the Champions League, on Tuesday evening.
My suspicions are that the Frenchman will be rested and saved for the crucial Premier League fixture away to Everton, this coming weekend.
