One player that Chelsea have been linked to, in recent transfer speculation, is Leon Goretzka.
Goretzka is a midfielder who is currently on the books of the Bundesliga side, Schalke.
Just 22-years-of-age, Goretzka is carving out something of a reputation on both the domestic and international stages and has attracted the attention of numerous clubs throughout Europe.
His contract with Schalke expires in June and, naturally, his current club are keen to hang on to his services.
To that effect, it is being reported by the German news vehicle, Bild, that Schalke are looking to offer the player a lucrative new contract.
Now whether he signs it or not, the previously mentioned list of potential suitors, which includes, as well as ourselves, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Barcelona, will be paying close attention to the outcome of any talks between the player and Schalke.
