Indeed, the bordering on a tabloid paper goes on to suggest that Roman Abramovich is prepared to put his money where his mouth is and outbid Manchester City and their owner, Sheik Mansour, to take advantage of the turmoil Liverpool are experiencing.
The figure quoted is a mind-boggling £70 million!
Now normally I`d just laugh this one off but this time, just perhaps, there is no smoke without fire!
I guess only time will tell!
