Chelsea face Nottingham Forest in the EFL/Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening with a kick-off time of 19:45. It will be Chelsea`s third home game in just over a week, and one that ought to see them progress to fourth round of the competition. With a busy month of games on-going for Antonio Conte`s squad, rotation is likely to be the name of the game.

Following hot on the heels of Sunday`s 0-0 draw with Arsenal, there are likely to be a couple of debuts in the starting XI at least.

In goal Willy Caballero can expect to see his first action of the season against the Championship side. Sticking with his favoured 3-4-3 formation Conte is likely to rest two of the three central defenders. Having missed early games due to his sending off against Burnley, Cahill will most probably captain the team and be joined in defence by Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.

Kennedy could replace Marcos Alonso in the left wing-back role and Davide Zappacosta will look to replicate his excellent game against Qarabag. With his relentless work rate, N`golo Kante ought to be rested in favour of Cesc Fabregas, Tiemoue Bakayoko his likely partner.

Michy Batshuayi will have Eden Hazard, continuing his return to match fitness, and debutant Charly Musonda setting him up with goal opportunities.
