Yesterday, transfer tittle-tattle intimated that Tammy Abraham was on the radar of the Premier League side Leicester City.
The inference being that the reigning Premier League title holders would like to purchase the 19-year-old striker or, if need be, take the striker on loan.
Abraham, as you are well aware, is on a season-long loan spell with the Championship side Bristol City and had netted 24 times for the club who are currently fighting to avoid relegation to League One.
After netting a brace at the weekend, Abraham had a few words for the media, remarking about his future,
“I know I have massive potential to be a big star in the world. It would be a dream for me to move from here to the Premier League, but I have to focus on what I am doing here first and give myself that chance for people to see me.
“It would be lovely to be in the Chelsea first team squad but it won`t be easy. I need to finish this season on a high and help Bristol stay up.
“It is about making a statement and making a name for myself.”
Here at Vital Chelsea we`re hoping Tammy can hit the 30-goal mark for Bristol City this season, help them stay up, leave as a hero, then try to break into the Chelsea first-team squad, but will it happen?
