The big news in the media this morning is that we could be seeing the departure of David Luiz come the opening of the January transfer window.

It would seem that the recent spat between the Brazilian and Antonio Conte, allied with the emergence of Andreas Christensen as a top-notch centre-back, has convinced the club that a move for the 30-year-old is the best option according to the popular red-top publication, the Daily Mirror.

Furthermore, this particular source reckons that two clubs are already showing an interest, one of them being the Italian champions Juventus and the other, surprisingly, being Manchester United with Jose Mourinho looking for a replacement for the long-term injured Eric Bailly.

Elsewhere though, another news source, the Daily Mail, is of the opinion that David Luiz could be headed for a far bigger stage with the current reigning Champions League and La Liga holders, showing an interest.

But what are your opinions folks, would you be sad to see David Luiz leave or is the time right for a parting of the waves?
