Did we take our eye off the ball with Petr Cech being an ever-present last season?
Did we just take it for granted that the dependable giant Czech would naturally be available this season?
Anyone else care to recall our anguish at Mr Courtois being allowed to go on loan?
The news that broke today relating to Petr Cech being sidelined for three to four weeks with a knee injury sustained in training; is possibly the worst news we could expect.
Members of this site have, for as long as I can remember, have queried the club`s policy when it comes to relying on Hilario and Turnbull as suitable back-up for Petr and now I guess we`re about to find out if either can cut the mustard.
Personally, I fear not!
