The sun is shining and for a change the outlook isn?t too gloomy.
Now I?m not talking about the weather but something far more attractive. Those of you who knew me in a previous guise might well remember me harping on about a friendly tournament between the various unofficial web sites and supporters groups.
Now, after much delay, we?re proud to announce that we have been provided with a few dates by Chelsea Football Club, dates which we, the humble supporters, will be allowed to play on the much heralded pitches at the Cobham Training facility.
Now comes the hard part. We?re reliably informed that the opposition ? cfcnet, Chelsea Supporters Group and the Chelsea Supporters Club intend to field very strong teams.
However, we have our pride to consider and there is no way we intend to come fourth in this particular foray. Therefore, if you have any football ability and can lace up a pair of boots and will be available for a Saturday in July (probably the 15th) then drop us a line acknowledging your interest to the usual e-mail address.
