What?s Another Day?

News that the big decision of the summer has been delayed until tomorrow filtered through this morning.

We still don?t know, officially, if Andriy Shevchenko will be joining Chelsea this summer. The hero worshiped Ukrainian striker was supposed to have met with the AC Milan chairman today (Thursday) to tell him of his decision. However, it appears that due to circumstances beyond his control, the meeting has been deferred until Friday.

Now we can only speculate as to why this is, we cannot offer any hard evidence to support or deny that he will move this summer other than that we?ve already published. However, the tabloids are still talking positively with one leading tabloid suggesting that Andriy spent some time with Roman Abramovich discussing terms on one of his luxury yachts in Monaco.

Unfortunately, this tug-of-love is fast becoming two sided with AC Milan supporters running an on-line petition begging Andriy to stay with the Milan team. In the first two days, over ten thousand supporters took time out to sign the petition showing the genuine feelings they have for their superstar striker.

We here at Vital, despite all the furore surrounding the move, believe that Andriy made his mind up some tome ago, the only questions relating to his decision surround the extended deal Milan are offering and any lingering feelings he may have for the club.

If we?re forced to wait another day before finding out our answer it won?t matter, after all we?ve been chasing this striker for the best part of two years.
