There are mutterings in the morning press relating to Radamel Falcao.

The Columbian, signed on loan for a season from AS Monaco, doesn`t appear to be that enthralled with life at Stamford Bridge at the moment.

The 29-year-old, who joined Chelsea Football Club after an abysmal year at Old Trafford, didn`t even make the eighteen man squad for the win over Aston Villa at the weekend.

Mourinho`s promise to turn the striker back into the feared striker he once was at Atletico Madrid, now seem to be hollow words.

Falcao`s plight is such that already there is talk of a January transfer window exit with the striker becoming increasingly worried about his place in the Colombian squad.

Surprisingly, one media source, The Sun, is this morning suggesting that Falcao`s escape route could see him end up at the Nou Camp.

However, for that to happen Chelsea, AS Monaco and Barcelona would all have to come to some positive agreement.

There`s also the small matter of a potential Falcao exit leaving Chelsea short on the striker front with just Diego Costa and Loic Remy then available, unless Chelsea decide to bring some one in during the same transfer window.

Your thoughts on the subject matter would be most appreciated.
