If this is the case then it couldn`t have come at a worse time for Antonio Conte. With Alvaro Morata possibly sidelined for the next few weeks another casualty is not what the doctor ordered.
It is possible that Danny Drinkwater is on the brink of recovering from injury and could be available as early as the weekend when Chelsea travel to Crystal Palace. Given their time together at Leicester City, Kante missing may not be so bad, Drinkwater ought to be able to take on his role.
Fingers crossed the injury is not that bad and his removal was purely precautionary. Going into the weekend though, Antonio Conte may have another conundrum to solve. Oh dear…
