Today’s main gossip centres around three managers. With our current manager continually linked with a move away from Chelsea in the summer, it’s believed that the Blues hierarchy have already lined up his replacement.

Whether the Italian is off of his own fruition or because of that of his superiors remains to be seen. The man being touted as his replacement today, is his fellow countryman and current Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri.

According to the The Daily Mail Allegri has ‘agreed to takeover next summer`. This despite, then saying, Juventus are unlikely to let him go with a contract that runs until 2020 still in place. Conte depending where you look, is believed to be taking over from Unai Emery at PSG of re-taking the reins of the Italian national side.

The other man linked with a move back to Stamford Bridge, were Conte to leave, has long been regarded as our former boss. Another fellow Italian and Juventus boss, I can see a pattern developing here, Carlo Ancelotti.

However, according to reports in the The Evening Standard those behind the scenes at Arsenal are preparing for the departure of Arsene Wenger, and see Ancelotti as a good fit, should Wenger go.

Quickly whilst talking of former managers, here at Vital Chelsea we`d like to send our best wishes to Andre Villas-Boas who is in hospital following a crash in the Dakar rally. The Portuguese` injured his back in the incident that has seen him withdraw from the event. He may not have been our favourite manager, but he did do valuable work with Jose and was a part of the team that gave Chelsea their first Premier League title. Kudos.

Getting back to talk of players, once again it`s pretty quiet. Our former captain Dennis Wise has been talking on Sky Sports – The Debate and it`s his opinion that Chelsea may well have completed their transfer business with the signing of Ross Barkley. You`d have to hope that`s not the case because Chelsea are still short in the striking department.

A player possibly on the move during this window is West Ham`s Javier Hernandez. The Hammers have indicated that the Mexican is surplus to David Moyes requirements, and can go if a deal can be agreed. With Chelsea needing a striker, Hernandez may not be the ideal choice, but he always managed to find a goal whenever he played for United against us. In fact he was annoying little Mexicant. He has European experience and would be available to face Barcelona, so why not.

According to bookmakers Chelsea are not in the running for him. It`s seems his most likely destination is the US and Los Angeles FC. Should he stay in the Premier League, it`s believed Arsenal would gladly take him.

Should Chelsea succeed in bringing in a left sided wingback, Kenedy could well be on his way up to join another of our former managers (interim) in Rafa Benitez at Newcastle United. However according to the The Shields Gazzette they`re in a bit of a quandary. The Magpies would also quite like to take Charly Musonda Jr on loan but they`re only allowed to sign one loan player from the Premier League. Should they wait on Kenedy, there`s a good chance Musonda will have gone somewhere else. If Chelsea can`t find a replacement for the young Brazilian, he`ll stay at Chelsea.

Talking of young Brazilian`s, according to The Daily Mail there`s a host of Premier League teams looking to sign Arthur. Currently playing for Brazilian outfit, Gremio, the midfielder has been linked with Chelsea, as well as United. It was thought Barcelona had triggered a release clause of £45m after the youngster had posed in one of the Catalans shirts with their sporting director. However that was not the case, and that displeased Gremio, such that, they`d sooner sell for less to an English club. A figure of between £30m-£35m being mooted, right in Chelsea`s ball-park.

Last one for tonight is Antonio Conte being pictured whispering in Alexis Sanchez`s ear prior to last nights game, sparking rumours of a possible move to Stamford Bridge. There`s nothing in it though, it`s just earsay… Back tomorrow at 10pm with more news hot off the press.
