Chelsea’s Eden Hazard are represented in the League Cup Team of the Tournament that has been selected after this weekend’s Final between Arsenal and Manchester City.

The performances by Eden Hazard in Chelsea’s EFL Cup run this season was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the League Cup competition.

I think we’ll already know ourselves why Hazard was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the EFL Cup blurb read.

‘Hazard played a key part in Chelsea`s progress, with the Belgian winger`s first start of 2017/18 accompanied by two assists in the 5-1 rout of Nottingham Forest. He set up the last-minute quarter-final winner against AFC Bournemouth and put the Blues ahead in the semi-final second leg before Arsenal fought back.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Hazard for his recognition.
