Hazard Speculation Causes Concern For All Associated With Chelsea

|

After doing his bit to help Belgium ease past the challenge presented by Panama, in the World Cup yesterday, we awake this morning to find yet more speculation relating to the future of Eden Hazard.

Although Eden is contracted to Chelsea Football Club, he knows his exquisite skills could see him lured away from the club.

In an interview given before the start of the World Cup, and as reported by the news source, the Sun, Eden has, once again, reiterated that a move to Real Madrid could interest him, with the 27-year-old remarking,

“As everybody knows, Real Madrid could interest me. But if tomorrow they don’t want me, I won’t talk about them anymore.”

But Chelsea fans shouldn’t give up hope that the Belgian will definitely be moving on, with Hazard further remarking,

“I will stay at Chelsea if the team is better than it was last season. I don’t want to stay if we are less good.

“I have won everything bar the Champions League in London. I am where I am in my career thanks to Chelsea.

“Above all I would love to know what will happen at the club next season. I will wait and see whether the manager stays or goes.”

You get the impression that Eden would love to stay at Stamford Bridge but, like us, he’s a little perplexed as to what lies ahead in the coming weeks.

There are so many unanswered questions which we’d all like answers to, namely:

Who’ll be in the managerial hot-seat this coming season?

Who are the club looking to invest their money in during the summer transfer window?

Are we set to see an exodus of players now that there is no Champions League football coming our way?

Worrying times for all, but let’s hope that Eden gets the answers he wants and is strutting his stuff for Chelsea Football Club next season.
