Antonio Conte has said he’s happy at Chelsea and has no plans to leave the Blues until the end of his current contract, at least, as he continues to focus on winning the Premier League crown in his debut season in England.

Conte’s been mentioned in connection with a return it Serie A, more than once, with it this week claimed by an Italian football agent, Federico Pastorello, the Chelsea boss could return home with Inter Milan.

He said the interview from Pastorello, who he doesn’t know and can’t understand why he’s speaking for him, has no truth to it and he’s happy at Stamford Bridge.

Sky Sports quote his pre-Bournemouth news conference:

‘I read the interview about Federico Pastorello. I don’t know him and I don’t know why this person has spoken about me. I think I stay here, I am happy to stay here and this is the most important thing.’

Given his track record in Italy, at club and international level, coupled with what looks likely to be continued success with Chelsea, Conte feels he wanted back in Serie A, but stressed it was ‘the truth’ when he says he plans to stick with the Blues.

Adding: ‘I don’t like other people to speak for me. I have two more years on my contract with Chelsea, this is the truth. But it’s normal to try and involve my name in this situation because I worked in Italy and I think they want me to go back to Italy.’
