With the striker situation looking bleak at Stamford Bridge, could it be about to get worse?
With Diego Costa not wanted and with Romelu Lukaku signing for Manchester United, speculation, as covered by Vital Chelsea, has been linking Chelsea with a move for the Real Madrid striker, Alvaro Morata.
It was widely hoped that after showing an interest in joining Manchester United, an interest that ended when Jose Mourinho opted for Romelu Lukaku, Morata might be tempted to sample life under Antonio Conte at Chelsea.
But, according to the Daily Star, which has picked up on some information championed by the Spanish media vehicle Onda Cero, Morata isn`t interested in a move to Chelsea, describing it as not viable.
Instead, our second source is promoting the suggestion that Morata is focussing on Los Blancos, much to our dismay.
