Just How Bad Was Bakayoko Against Watford?

Last night, in the thirtieth minute, Chelsea were reduced to 10-men when Tiemoue Bakayoko was sent-off for his second bookable offence.

The red card was Chelsea`s seventh of the season, a figure that no other Premier League club can match, with the nearest being five.
The second yellow card, shown for a foul on Richarlison, was indicative of the way the first thirty minutes had gone for our summer signing.

To put it bluntly, Bakayoko had suffered a nightmare game since the first whistle.

The midfielder seemed off the pace and could barely contribute, often being guilty of losing possession, for his side, at the most inopportune time.

Unfortunately, Bakayoko`s performances, for some time, haven`t been up to scratch and many on Vital Chelsea have questioned the players inclusion in the starting eleven in the last few weeks.

Now, I`m not one to knock one of our own, even though throughout the decades I`ve seen some shockers wearing our blue shirt, but sat here in the editorial chair, I`d like to know just how bad was the midfielder last night and whether now is the time, once his one-game suspension is over, to withdraw him from the front-line.

Here at Vital Chelsea we`d appreciate your views!
