Just Like Watching Brazil

In the wake of our fantastic result against Manchester City, a lot of attention has rightly been focused on David Luiz and Ramires, the two goal scorers.

Luiz has slotted in to the team seamlessly thus far and is already well on his way to establishing himself as a bit of a cult hero.

He’s big, powerful, scores extremely atypical goals for a defender, and has the boldest looking hair since Ruud Gullit (sorry Florent!) graced SW6.

What’s not to like?

Ramires on the other hand has had quite a shaky start to life at the bridge, and it’s fair to say that his performances for the majority of the season have been below par.

His goal against City will hopefully prove to be a turning point, it was a fantastic individual effort and the culmination of a solid performance all afternoon.

Just like watching Brazil? So far, so good.

Chelsea have been blowing hot and cold this season, probably too much of the latter to be in with any real shot at domestic silverware, but mathematically we are still very much in the hunt.

One bad result however, at this late stage, will surely be the final nail in the proverbial coffin.

Time to roll up our sleeves and get to work!
