Although, on January transfer day, we did our best to keep you abreast of all the transfer activity going on, it appears that one deal slipped through the net.
Therefore, it only seems that we rectify matters, even if we are a little late.
The one deal we inadvertently missed, related to Kasey Palmer.
Our attacking midfielder, who is just 21-years-of-age, has joined the promotion chasing Championship side, Derby County on loan.
Prior to joining Derby County, for the rest of the season, Palmer had spent most of the last eighteen months on loan at Huddersfield Town.
Indeed, he was an important member of the side that earned promotion from the Championship, to the Premier League, last season.
However, this season Palmer hasn`t made the desired impact, partly because of an injury he picked up, which subsequently saw Chelsea terminate the loan period earlier this month.
Having joined Derby County, it is expected that Palmer will make his debut for his new club, against Brentford, this Saturday.
