Last night wasn`t the best of nights for England.
A turgid display saw them only draw, 1-1, with the Republic of Ireland.
However, amongst all the doom and gloom our very own Frank Lampard produced a display described as a man-of-the-match one by one red-top publication.
Lampard, making his 96th England appearance produced one of his trademark goals to get England back on level terms, the goal being his 29th for his country.
The goal was also his 6th in his last 6 games for his country suggesting that Frank remains a very viable part of the England set-up under Roy Hodgson.
