Last season our Belgian striker, Michy Batshuayi, finished the season in a blaze of glory.

His name will be forever etched in the history books as the player who, on that dramatic night at the Hawthorns, scored the goal that secured the 2016 / 2017 Premier League title for Chelsea Football Club.

However, it hasn`t been the best of starts for Batshuayi this season with Alvaro Morata signed from Real Madrid set to lead the line.

Against Tottenham Hotspur, on Sunday, Batshuayi came on as a late substitute and almost upset the apple-cart by scoring the own goal that levelled the game. Previously, against Burnley in our first game of the season, his first touch let him down far too often and he was hooked off to give Morata his Premier League debut.

Today, the media vehicle, The Mirror, is suggesting that the 23-year-old could be set to leave Stamford Bridge.

Our aforementioned source is inferring that the Lille are set to make Chelsea a bid, said to be of the magnitude of £36 million for the player.

If that is the case, what would you do if you were in charge?

Would you accept the offer or hang on to the striker?
