After returning in triumph from Kiev, having beaten Dynamo Kiev 8-0, on aggregate, Chelsea continue their pursuit of a top-four finish this afternoon when they take on Everton, at Goodison Park.

In what is usually a tough fixture, Maurizio Sarri will be looking for maximum points after his side were stifled, last time out by Wolverhampton Wanderers having to settle for a share of the spoils.

Everton have disappointed their supporters this season but are still capable of springing a shock, even more so when you take into account how unpredictable Chelsea can be.

As is the norm, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we invite you to leave your views on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the big fixture.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it happens at Goodison Park.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate aftermath of the final whistle sounding.

Here’s hoping it’s all smiles for Chelsea fans come this evening.

  • Another game we have dominated and look like loosing no teeth up front and what is kepa doing he should have done better for the goal

  • Hands up who knew that would happen after we dominated first half I know most of us we have no punch up front thrown away today and last week wolves at home same problem Chelsea of old would have won both and we would be third now that’s a fact.we are to slow in build up I can’t see how Giroud didn’t start after a hat trick while Higuain was sick.Alonso for me should be benched he had a shocker and while I’m ranting kepa is not the finished article harsh you may think but think about it finally sarri pressure back on bet he’s relieved we have a good draw in europa league may save him but what will next season

  • Saw this coming when I saw Alonzo in the line up . He doesn’t fit this Sari style cause he needs protection that neither Luiz nor Jorginho offers. Relegate him to second rate games.

  • We shud just prepare for life after Hazard . I dont rate Sarri at all . I dont like him either . Dude has No drive or directness .

  • Total & utter garbage today, clubs, ownership, management & players are a mess. I would have more respect for Hazard to get out of this crap. When Alonso is on might as well play with 10 men, why loftus cheek & Hudson odoi are benched is beyond me. But here we are again in the same shit. Sari ball my arse, you’re not good enough, period. Feck off you useless man and take jorginho with you.

  • The mix is totally wrong. If you insist on playing Jorginho, who is neat and tidy, you need a goal threat either side. They are relying on Hazard to produce the goods week in week out and it is too much.
“That is why they look like they won’t finish in the top four.” From souness . Totally spot on .

Still rely heavily on Hazard . Perhaps its time for them to leave . Hazard, Sarri n Jorginho .
