Tonight’s the night!

Forget the small matter of the Carabao Cup Final on Sunday, when a piece of silverware slipped through our fingers, courtesy of an errant penalty shoot-out, Tottenham Hotspur are at the Bridge tonight for a Premier League fixture.

After losing away to Burnley, at the weekend, Tottenham’s hopes of winning the Premier League, albeit always being slim, hang by the thinnest of threads, a Chelsea win will end those hopes for this season.

Is there a better reason for producing a second decent performance on the bounce!

As usual, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we’re hoping for your participation, we’re simply asking you to offer your views, in our comment section beneath this article, on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the big London derby.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it happens at Stamford Bridge.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period following the sounding of the final whistle.

Up the Chels!

  • I will like to use this privilaged to extend my gratitude to kante. He is the one tht take the responsibility of tht mildfield (10 and 4) he is every whre in the pitch
i think our linup should be as follow
kepa, azpilqueta, rudigar, liuz, emerson, kante, kovacic, barkely, hazard, higuain and willian

    • My thoughts exactly, with Loftus Cheek coming in for Barkley at some point and Hudson Odoi coming in for Willian.

  • Team sheet says Kepa’s benched. Might see a fight here as he may well decide he’s playing regardless of Manager’s decision!
