News is coming in tonight that Alvaro Morata is out of the Chelsea team that face Huddersfield Town tomorrow evening.
Having struggled in the game against West Ham at the weekend, Antonio Conte has ruled Morata out, citing a back injury and fatigue. According to Sky Sports David Luiz is also still injured as he recovers from a knee problem. Danny Drinkwater, however, did train before the team headed north. Sky carry part of Antonio Conte`s pre-match interview,

`Morata is out. He is a bit tired and he has a problem in his back. I think when you play every three days, it is impossible to have a training session and to work on the physical aspects. It’s impossible. It’s impossible because you have to prepare with the players for a game every three days.’

It may well be good that Morata gets a rest, he certainly looked out of sorts against West Ham. Chelsea really ought to have a squad that are capable of beating Huddersfield, whether they will be motivated to do so remains to be seen.
