Tonight, in a Champions League fixture, Chelsea go head-to-head with Roma.
Playing a midfield role for the Italian club will be a player that Chelsea were linked with in the summer, the Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
The 29-year-old has been at the Serie A club for three-and-a-half years and has established himself as something of a midfield general.
But, despite all the press speculation, it would seem that the player had no intention of leaving Roma.
The news source, Sky Sports, carries some remarks from Nainggolan that clarify his views on his career choice, remarks that read,
‘Well I made my choice.
‘I never hesitated or thought for a minute about leaving, so it doesn’t matter if it’s Chelsea or anyone else.”
But our question to you is whether Radja Nainggolan would have been an upgrade on what we already have.
