This Tuesday evening Chelsea take on their long-time rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, in the first leg of a Carabao Cup semi-final.
The tie will take place at Wembley, with Tottenham’s new ground still not having been completed.
For the winners of the two-legged semi-final, a place in the Carabao Cup Final, against the winners of the other semi-final, being contested by Manchester City and Burton Albion, awaits.
With the fixtures coming thick and fast at this time of the year, Maurizio Sarri’s squad has been hit by injuries, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek the latest in the medical centre after picking up a back injury against Nottingham Forest, in the FA Cup.
It remains to be seen whether the likes of Pedro, Willian or Giroud will have recovered sufficiently to be available for selection.
As is the norm, we’re running our usual feature whereby we ask you to second-guess Maurizio Sarri and name the starting eleven the Italian will select.
Let’s see if anyone can get the starting eleven exactly right.
Up the Chels!
