The draw definitely wasn`t favourable to Chelsea when the draw for the FA Cup 5th round was made.
Having disposed of the challenge of the Championship side, MK Dons, in emphatic style, Chelsea fans were hoping that we`d be given a cushy home tie against one of the few minnows left in the competition, but it wasn`t to be, Chelsea were the first ball out of the hat quickly followed by Manchester City, setting up a real hum-dinger of a tie.
After the narrow defeat, to Paris St-Germain, in the Champions` League on Tuesday evening, Chelsea fans will be hoping that the side can get back to winning ways a task perhaps aided by the fact that Manchester City, especially Pellegrini, are facing a difficult Champions League tie next Tuesday.
In fact the inference coming from Manchester is that Pellegrini could be set to field several youngsters to focus on the forthcoming Champions League tie.
But, getting back to the crux of the article, once again we`re asking you to participate and second guess the starting eleven that Guus Hiddink will select.
We`re assuming that Jon Terry won`t be risked until his hamstring injury has fully healed and we`re also certain that there will be no Kurt Zouma, with the young French defender side-lined for the remainder of the season.
But, after missing the Champions` League fixture against Paris St-Germain through suspension, Nemanja Matic is available again.
But the big question surrounding the possible team selection is whether Guus will use the tie to give a few youngsters the opportunity to shine or whether it`ll be the old guard.
So, trying to second guess Guus, name the starting eleven that our Dutchman will opt for as we prepare to resume our FA Cup campaign and move a step nearer to Wembley.
