Name the Starting XI – West Ham (h)

|

It`s difficult to imagine that Antonio Conte will change too much when he selects his team to face West Ham this afternoon. He`s consistently played, pretty much, the same eleven players for most of the season.

He`s been reluctant to use any of the new signings that have joined the club in the two transfer windows for fear of being made responsible for them.

There are a couple of areas that need freshening up after the Tottenham game, and there`s no reason to not introduce a bit more rotation into his squad.

Thibaut Courtois will be keen to get back between the sticks, having missed the last three games. He`ll be looking to regain some of the confidence lost against Barcelona.

On the other hand, in front of him Andreas Christensen, could possibly do with a spell out of the spotlight. Having been drafted in as David Luiz`s replacement early on, one or two mistakes have been slipping into his game. Gary Cahill is waiting in the wings, although our captain may have spoken out of turn, and may not be flavour of the month with his boss.

Victor Moses delivered the cross that Alvaro Morata scored from last weekend, but defensively he wasn`t at his best. Davide Zappacosta could slot into that right wingback role.

Cesc Fabregas must not play alongside N`golo Kante in a two man midfield. It just doesn`t work. If Danny Drinkwater is fit, he should link up with his former Leicester teammate.

Chelsea could lineup in a 3-4-3 formation as follows,

Thibaut Courtois
Antonio Rudiger
Gary Cahill
Cesar Azpilicueta
Marcos Alonso
Danny Drinkwater
N`golo Kante
Davide Zappacosta
Willian
Eden Hazard
Alvaro Morata

What do you think, how do you see Conte setting his side up for the final push of the season. Is there anything that can get these players going. Thoughts please?
