After heavily criticising Chelsea, on a social network site, it was suggested that Charly Musonda would be sent out on loan, come the opening of the January transfer window.

Having blighted his copybook with his now familiar outburst of,

“You sacrifice, you work hard, harder, you give more than what’s expected, and often more than you can, because you love what you do and clearly more than you should.

“And what do you get back? Literally nothing…done.’

it seemed that the 21-year-old would get his wish and would be sent off on loan again.

However, it seems that will not be the case with one news source, the Express, championing the suggestion that Antonio Conte is keen to hold on to the talented youngster.

Now we`re not sure how much game-time Musonda will get but a start against Everton, whereby he played seventy-minutes, is an indication that Conte, with so many games heading our way, is prepared to give the youngster a chance.

Or could, being churlish, the reason for not wanting to send the youngster out on loan is that our squad, once it picks up a couple of injuries or suspensions, is still relatively thin?

We`d be interested to read your comments on the above subject matter in our facility beneath this article.
