Well, here`s a surprise. It`s Thibaut Courtois claiming allegiance to the cause. Merlin quoted the Belgian,
‘I don`t see myself at Real Madrid. I see myself at Chelsea, the club that six years ago saw me playing in Belgium and gave me the opportunity. I`m very happy at Chelsea and I don`t see myself anywhere else.’
Well, that good news then. It`s always good to have loyal players amongst the ranks.

This is a good one. It was a lunchtime kick-off and a resounding victory over Arsenal. To be precise a 6-0 win. Goals from Samuel Eto`o, Andre Schurrle, Eden Hazard, Oscar(2) and Mohamed Salah secured the win.
Whatever happened to Salah?
There`s a nice symmetry to some of these stories. If we go back a bit further another name more recently mentioned came up

The word on the street was, that Luke Shaw was about to become a Chelsea transfer target. Just 17 then and at Southampton, he eventually moved to Manchester United where his career effectively ended. Everyone knows, Southampton only sell to Liverpool. There`s talk 5 years on that the Blues may be after the Chelsea supporting defender again. That symmetry continued.

And we`re in 5th place in the Premier League, fighting Tottenham for 4th place. As it turned out, we finished 6th, Tottenham got 4th spot and that crucial Champions League place. Unfortunately for Spurs, we went on to win the Champions League thus depriving them of that spot. Sweet.
