Premier League Rivals Linked With Chelsea Centre Back

|

The January transfer window will soon be with us.

Now I would be incredibly surprised if the club were to bring in any fresh talent, after the massive summer splurge, but it would not surprise me if some of the current squad could leave, either on-loan or permanently.

Back in October, our young international centre-back, Fikayo Tomori, declined a season-long loan move to West Ham United.

The 22-year-old preferred to remain at Stamford Bridge and fight for a place in the starting eleven.

Unfortunately, Tomori has not been able to force his way into the side and has featured in just 1 of Chelsea’s 18 Premier League and Champions League fixtures.

Therefore, it probably does not come as a surprise to see Tomori’s name linked with a January move with The Football Insider championing the suggestion that Leeds United are closely monitoring Tomori’s situation and could seek a loan move to ease the injury crisis they have at the heart of their defence.

Now whether Chelsea would allow Tomori to join a Premier League rival remains to be seen.

But is it a move you would sanction if you were in charge?
